Anyone can help me with my product key?
That may be a moot point, as the install may well not work with a different motherboard. The MS viewpoint is that the license is tied to the motherboard/CPU, not the disk. They are, I believe, making changes so that should you fry the motherboard you'd need a new license. Doc.

I might be incorrect, but wouldn'tI just need a new valid key, not necessarily new packaging and all that? MS Tech Support has sold me CD keys before over the Windows XP CD, Product Key documentation, packaging etc. Anything less is not a legal sale. What version is your Windows XP? Retail, OEM? Home or Pro?

(Windows 98, ME etc) If you do, you need Windows XP Pro upgrade. Otherwise you need the full version of Windows XP Pro. This will give you a valid license. As long as you have no problems, you do not need to do anything else. If you want to change it to your new Product Key, you can perform a Repair Installation
